This painting is a depiction of a vision I had of a powerful influx of the Creator’s white light to the Middle East in 2011. In the vision I saw a man standing on a mountaintop with his hands closed. Suddenly a white light of peace and enlightenment flowed over him awakening him to the love and light of his soul. The light then flowed to the settlement at the foot of the mountain awakening many others there.

During the process of completing this painting I struggled with the man’s hands beyond what I should have and knew there was significance in this. I realized the focus on the hands was a representation of the working man, the one who received this light. Therefore, there was no need for religious study or higher education to be blessed with the Creator’s light, only a willingness to open to love was required.
